All Children's (Ages 2-5th Grade) Scripture Memory
Psalm 145: Verse 1-21 ESV
I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord, and all your saints shall bless you! They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power, to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season. You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them. The Lord preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.

Parents/Guardians: using the info below, consider having a conversation with your children in preparation for Sunday School this Sunday:
Ages 2-5: The Broken
Genesis 2:8-9, 15-17 and 3:1-24
(Consider the thread of good and evil that runs through the Bible.)
Main Truth: Sin Broke Everything
Catechism Question #16: What is sin? Sin is rejecting or ignoring God in the world he created, not being or doing what he requires.
Song: Jesus Loves Me vs 1-2
K-5th Grades: Torchlighters
Heroes of the Faith: Martin Luther
To conclude our Sunday School year, this Sunday we will begin a 5-week series for our elementary students, highlighting true-life stories of heroes of the faith each week. Students will watch a 25-30 minute video story and then use the remaining time for a teacher-led discussion.
After Sunday, consider asking your children about Martin Luther's struggle with faith and works and see if they can talk to you about the truth that God saves us by grace through faith!
*5th graders will "move up" to the MS/HS class on Sunday, July 20. All other children will "move up," and we will start the new curriculum on Sunday, August 10!
Middle School/High School: Philippians 1:27-2:30
We will dive into the context around the camp verse for this year (Philippians 2:9-11). As the church, the body of Christ, we want to participate in the progress of the gospel with one mind, using the example of Christ's humility.
Adults: Paul's Missionary Journeys
Paul in Corinth: Turning Weakness into Strength
Sermon Prep:
Building Our Lives on God's Plan (Ephesians 3:7-10)
Partners of the Week:
Local: Youth Camp
Pray for students and adults heading to camp in Estes Park today. Ask God to give grace to camp leadership and to move in our hearts so we might know Jesus and make Him known.
Global: The Unreached
Just as we prayed for those mis-reached people in Uganda last week, let's pray that God would raise up workers for the harvest in 40% of the world that don't have access to the good news of Jesus Christ.
Ben and Emily Cornish (Teaching Truth International) are praising God for an adoption match and for the birth of Ruby Jane, born on July 1. Pray for them as they make adjustments to their new life together. Last Sunday, we shared a link to a baby registry with some things that they could use. You can link to that list here!
